Do you love Alum Creek Lake, Delaware Lake, Deer Creek Lake, Paint Creek Lake, Dillon Lake, or Tom Jenkins Lake/Burr Oak Dam? Then show us some dam love, and join us for the Inaugural Just Another Dam Race 5k and Fun Run! The race will be held entirely on Alum Creek Dam and is the first and only event to do so! It will kick off in the west parking lot at 9:30am (registration starts at 8:30am). Every participant on race day will receive a finishers medal. Bring your friends, family, neighbors, or anyone for this inaugural event!
Deadline for registration with a T-shirt is October 7,2021. There will be a limited number of shirts available to purchase on the day of the race. Race Day registration will be $30 for the 5k and $15 for the Fun Run.
In the event that there are restrictions to outdoor activities due to COVID, the race will become a virtual race. There will be no refunds once a registration is received.
The Scioto Area Corps Cooperating Association (SACCA) is a non-profit foundation that supports the mission, priorities and vision of the Central Ohio U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The priorities of the association are to promote and improve recreation, habitat, Resource Education and Water Safety so that Central Ohio communities have the full benefit of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers parks and programs. Some of the projects that SACCA is working towards: New Restrooms, Information Kiosks, Vending Machines, Parking Improvements, Special Events, and much more!
